A Goodbye Message from Bob & Judi

We received an email from Bob & Judi (of Bob & Judi's Coolectibles) yesterday that we want to share. We think it's best if you just read it:
TO ALL OUR CUSTOMERS, NEIGHBORS AND FRIENDS
After 15 wonderful years, Bob & Judi will be closing their store at the end of July.
We are having a big sale and invite you to come in and shop for that special treasure, or stock up now for the holidays.
We would like to thank all our customers, neighbors and friends for their kindness and support throughout the 15 years.
Bob & Judi
Actually, this is really a bittersweet occasion. Bob and Judi are moving to California and starting a new life for themselves. So, while Fifth Avenue will be losing a much-loved institution in July, we are very happy for them and wish them all the best.

For now, though, get over to Bob & Judi's Coolectibles and do some shopping before it's too late!

  1. I was wondering about that house in california thing...too long a commute from fifth avenue.
i will miss you both and join with anyone who knows enough... to thank you for all your years of hard work and committment to fifth avenue, your fellow merchants, and the park slope community.
    with love always
    fonda

  3. Bob & Judi,

I hope we have a chance to stop by before you close.

You were wonderful neighbors 10 years ago, and we cherish the gifts we bought each other in your shop.

All the best in your new endeavors!

  4. Bob and Judys was one of my first shops to visit when I first moved to this area 12 years ago. I have been shopping here since, bought my beautiful vintage lamp that still stands in my living room, and now my daughter who moved to this area loves this shop and has named it one of her favorite stores in Park Slope. We will miss this eclectic, fun and inviting shop and wish Bob and Judy a great journey in California. I will be sure to stop in soon and shop till I drop before the closing date!!
