It's amazing what you can see when you are up on your roof in Park Slope!
No, we're not talking about Manhattan. We're talking about the interesting stuff that takes place in our neighborhood, every day, out of site from everyone except people on other roofs. For example, take the photo to the right. Yesterday, the Fire Department and the Department of Buildings were called to an unsafe building on Baltic between 5th & 6th. The FDNY broke down the front door and went in to inspect the 4 story brownstone and its roof.
Another example: This photo of workers on top of Key Food on 5th Avenue, laying down a brand new roof.
