Park Slope Electronics Recycling Event

This July 18, from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m., join Park Slope in welcoming PerScholas to their new home in Brooklyn with a Community Used-Electronics Recycling Event.

Now it's easy to do your part to beautify New York City. Turn in your used electronics at 88 9th Street between 2nd Avenue and Smith Street on July 18. A small fee (such as $5.00 for each computer) covers all expenses. Data removal is also offered ($10).

Operating under the highest standards of excellence, PerScholas, a non-profit organization, will save your electronics from landfills (where their toxins soak into the earth). Electronics will either be refurbished and offered to low-income families, or recycled to comply with ISO 14001 regulations.

If you live in Brooklyn (or nearby), drop by!

For more information, please call Louis A. Berrios Jr., Director of Business Development, PerScholas: 718-772-0655, or Kenneth Wheeler at 1-800-MrRubbish.
