Here Comes St. Patrick's Day on Fifth
This Thursday, March 17th, celebrate St. Patrick's Day on Park Slope's Fifth Avenue! Enjoy Irish music in the streets from 7-9 PM from Dean to 18th Streets.
We'll post merchant special offers here all week as we get them.
*Update Actually, Park Slope Patch has a pretty good list going! Check it out.
Also, The Old Stone House is hosting a literary event.
And Piramide Mexican Bar & Restaurant is having a St. Patrick's Day Celebration which will include " The Jason Ewald Band" and free shots of Irish Whiskey while it lasts. The band starts at 7:00 but the celebration will be all day. By the way, next week Piramide will be donating a percentage of business to the Red Cross for the Japan disaster relief! Sounds like a great reason to drop by!
Baluchi's is offering $3 drafts on St. Patrick's Day. Whether you take advantage of the deal or not, it's definitely a great place to get a hearty meal before heading out on the town!
ZuZu's Petals has a special selection of St.Patty's Day flowers...from a $15 mixed bunch to a $200 special springtime collection. A sure sign of spring: the first pansies are in and ready to be planted outside!
After the big party on Thursday, rest up on Friday and Saturday so that you can attend the Brooklyn St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday, March 20th at 1 PM. The parade travels in a rectangle, 15th Street and Prospect Park West, down 15th Street to 7th Avenue, down 7th Avenue to Union Street, up Union Street to Prospect Park West, and then down Prospect Park West back to 15th Street.
