Happy St. Patrick's Day!
- from the gang at All About Fifth and the Park Slope Fifth Avenue BID!
Looking for something to do today/tonight?
The BID is sponsoring free Irish music in the streets performed by strolling musicians from Opera on Tap!
Park Slope Patch has a pretty good list of bar specials going! Many of them are on Fifth Avenue! Check it out.
Also, The Old Stone House is hosting a literary event called "Brooklyn Reading Works: Blarneypalooza" curated by Michele Madigan Sommerville.
And Piramide Mexican Bar & Restaurant is having a St. Patrick's Day Celebration which will include " The Jason Ewald Band" and free shots of Irish Whiskey while it lasts. The band starts at 7:00 but the celebration will be all day. By the way, next week Piramide will be donating a percentage of business to the Red Cross for the Japan disaster relief! Sounds like a great reason to drop by!
Baluchi's is offering $3 drafts on St. Patrick's Day. Whether you take advantage of the deal or not, it's definitely a great place to get a hearty meal before heading out on the town!
ZuZu's Petals has a special selection of St.Patty's Day flowers...from a $15 mixed bunch to a $200 special springtime collection. A sure sign of spring: the first pansies are in and ready to be planted outside!
Of course, you can also just go to the BID's Bar Directory and find the nearest watering hole near you!
Enjoy!
